The Declo 3rd Ward Primary Primary Program was held on October 16th. The Primary theme this year was I know the scriptures are true. The kids put on a great program, talking about scriptures and the power they have. The primary presidency did a great job putting together the program. The kids favorite song to sing was Scripture Power!

The Fire House in Declo

The scouts at Declo 3rd ward have had a very busy year, they have done activities like, swimming at Durfee hot springs, where they passed of there swimming requirements. Some of the scouts were able to carry the flag in the homecoming parade, and others got to carry it at the veterans assembly at the school. They visited the Declo Fire Department and got to go in a real ambulance and try on a fire suit. They got to make birdhouses, they also made marshmallow guns and rubber band guns for the Christmas council, they made posters about different kinds of birds, they made a turkey game to play with there families, and most recently went Christmas caroling. The scout leaders are Amy Blauer, and Sara and Cody Sompson.

The Young Men have had a busy year as you can see. They have been lots of places, learned new things, participated in service, earned awards and had an excellent 2011!
